ENFOCADAS. ECOFEMINISMO FRANÇOISE D´EAUBONNE. UNE ÉPOPÉE ÉCOFÉMINISTE

En los años setenta, Françoise d’Eaubonne destacaba en el panorama intelectual francés. A los 50 años, ya había ganado varios premios literarios y publicado unas cuarenta novelas y ensayos, pero seguía firme en su lucha militante. Fue la primera en definir el ecofeminismo, denunciando la opresión conjunta de las mujeres y el planeta como consecuencia del patriarcado. Participó en las acciones del MLF, en la creación del FHAR (Front Homosexuel d’Action Révolutionnaire) y teorizó la contraviolencia, llegando incluso a sabotear la construcción de la central nuclear de Fessenheim.

In the 1970s, Françoise d’Eaubonne stood out on the French intellectual scene. At the age of 50, she had already won several literary prizes and published some forty novels and essays, but she remained steadfast in her militant struggle. She was the first to define ecofeminism, denouncing the combined oppression of women and the planet as a consequence of patriarchy. She participated in the actions of the MLF, in the creation of the FHAR (Front Homosexuel d’Action Révolutionnaire) and theorised counter-violence, even going so far as to sabotage the construction of the Fessenheim nuclear power station.
