Desde hace más de 5000 años los pastores habitan estas montañas de los Picos de Europa.

Para los hermanos Mier, pastores desde los trece años, éste sigue siendo su hogar. El año pasado tuvieron que vender su rebaño de ovejas. El lobo y las continuas restricciones administrativas están haciendo desaparecer las reciellas de ganado en estos puertos de montaña… y con ello, a sus pastores.

Shepherds have been living in these mountains of the Picos de Europa for more than 5000 years.

For the Mier brothers, shepherds since they were thirteen years old, this is still their home. Last year they had to sell their flock of sheep. The wolf and the continuous administrative restrictions are causing the disappearance of the livestock herds in these mountain passes… and with it, their shepherds.
